Pearl Jam's All of the Dog hit shelves on April 16, 1991. The album peaked at number five on the Billboard 200 following its second release and went on to sell more than a million copies. After Andrew Wood's death, many in the Seattle music scene felt like it was the end of an era. But for the rest of North America and the world at large, grunge was just about to arrive.
