How Old Are You? And When Did Your Parents Move to Lebanon?
The Armenian massacres in 1915 were basically rendered all my grandparents' orphans. So they dispersed all over like the Middle East, and my father's family was based in Syria,. My mother's family, based themselves in Lebanon. And one of my grandfathers was raised in a Greek orphanage. They met in Babe Ruth, Lebanon, which was kind of this very cosmopolitan, French-speaking community. There were a lot of Armenians there.
