The Uncontrollability of the World
The more control that we have, the more unpredictability we also add to the system or we can't always anticipate the results. We need these spaces where we experience a degree of agency, but also a degree of uncontrollability. So it's a discipleship challenge, I would say, to look for those spaces of resonance rather than for those spaces that I control and know everything that's going on.
