Mortgage rates are at generational lows. In an inflationary environment, being a holder of a fixed rate mortgage would be a hedge against that inflation. If you're not going to repay off your mortgage or prepay head, you want to refinance it. But there are still some people that have a ar paying u three and a half % on mortgages.
