Is It Better to Go Back to Basics Before You Get Into the Cloud?

Very few people actually understand how the intel x 86 architecture works at this point. But that doesn't stop it from being useful and used by a lot of people. If you really want to go into a career in systems administration or net working, i think you'll just end up working for a company that specializes in doing the stuff that developers don't want to do.
