The Importance of Automating Tasks on Mac OS
Safari is still two separate animals on iOS and Mac OS, making that sort of thing much more complicated. If you wanted to have the same shortcut work on your iPhone and your iPad, a lot of people worked around that by just installing things for iPhone on their iPad as well so that the shortcut actions would just run. But it doesn't work on Mac. It's one of those things of if there were parity across these things, then it would be a lot easier to say to people, yeah, you should really give this a try.
