Research shows that even short sessions of focusing on calming music can lower your anxiety and improve your mood. And again, like liz said, and it's not real. The thoughts are just thoughts. What is the sensations you are feeling your body are temporary. Fighting the way that you feel when you're anxious, being angry with yourself can actually create more anxiety and keep you in the cycle longer.
