The Blue Tea Shirt
The medals of this race are the tea shirt and the color is the distinction between the high course qualification and a low course qualification. If you make it there past 11 hours, then you qualify for a white tea shirt and go on the low course. Last year i was 11 minutes over, so i qualified for a white ta shirt. Got the finish, got my white ta shirt, but was left with the very non blue taste in my mouth, shall we say. So i was, i was hungry for something blue.
