The Importance of Exegesis
I think it's not just happenstance, but actually quite a good thing that I did my law. And this was like six months on my sabbatical of intense exegesis. That work was really done under the banner of I think God as father and family imagery is amazing and powerful. So I had done my work with the text before I kind of realized, oh, there's a problem I need to address.
