The Eulers Issue in the UK
A couple of weeks ago, there were three by-elections. Labour won with the second biggest ever swing from Tory to Labour. That seems like something you would want to keep in the news. But very quickly, they made the story that they failed to win a by-election because of this Eulers issue which is only applies to a few constituencies in the whole country. It feels like we've decided as a country, I don't know if you remember the film Leaving Las Vegas, where Nicholas Cage is an alcoholic and he has a point where he can either decide to no longer be an alcoholic or he can just drink himself to death. Let's just plow-stricken
