Sally Kohn: I noticed that my mom was hyper aware of perceived disrespect. My dad's way of dealing with conflict was to shun to not speak to you for several days. Does this come up in your relationships with your husband or your children? She says she gets upset when she has to ask her kids to do something and they don't respond quickly enough. Kohn: It's almost like it's a point of pride to keep going over these unpleasant interactions with people as a way of not getting ignored.
