How to Earn Platinum Elite Status
The Ritz card doesn't come with automatic platinum status. Get the value back for your annual fee with the free night certificate and the dining credits. Don't use it for spend except for $25 worth of dining each month because it's just not all that valuable in that way. I don't recommend trying to spend 60,000 to get another certificate.
