The Evolution of Social Media

I started posting in 2014, between 2014 and 2018. The first four years, I got 10,000 followers. Then it took four more to get to a million. In 2020, just before the pandemic, I was at maybe 3,400,000 on Instagram. It happened there around that time, didn't it? What I'm basically asking is how you've evolved to get where you are. At the moment, I'm becoming obsessed with YouTube. Like, I thought for many years that I just wasn't a creator that created on YouTube, but I've just come to realize my content was never good enough.
