Is China a Hybrid Economy?
The fact that the american model of democracy is seen by china has pased its celdaye. The big question i have here is not about the tilt of russia, because we've been steadily losing for decades now. It's rather whether or not new technologies, which are top down, the data and surveillance economy, actually facilitates authoritarian consolidation in ways that can't be redressed. A lot of people right now are hoping for the band with to worry about selling democracy.
