The bad guy's system does get taken down one by one in that giant feat of cataloging as you described it, but still made them a bunch of money. They still got the Lambo. And this whole system will now just move trickling down to sketchier and sketchier ad networks as they work to come up with some new exploit to target those first, second, and third tier ones.
