The Importance of Grounding in Financial Markets
I always had this inkling that I wanted to do my thing. It was just waiting for the right opportunity so my experience prior to doing this had led me to that point. So I think if you come in from it completely cold then you're probably going to be in for a bit of a shock. But having the desire to do that was the thing that motivated me rather than thinking through that it was necessarily a good career move. If I would have been able to hang on for another three years I may not have had this conversation with you.
