The Curse of Work

In Genesis chapter 2 verse 15, the Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and keep it. That's work before the fall, thrilling, satisfying, creative. What sin did when it came into the world was to make this glorious reality of satisfying work become futile, burdensome, frustrating. The futility and burdensomeness of work is part of the curse of creation, and it won't always be this way.
