The Ethics of the Cosmos

If the universe is purposeless, we lack any logical grounds to argue against a tyrant. In such a world, might makes right and might comes in the form of physical strength or political power. The ancient myth of antigone gives us this principle of a higher law that we can appeal to for ethical behaviour and justice.
