The Pushback of the TypeScript ES Lint Project
I was not one of the initial creators of TypeScript ES lint. I just float around the ecosystem contributing to projects that are already created by other people. It's an interesting space because it may not be super evident why the linting layer needs to care about types. But then I think upon Reflectchitz, oh, well, actually I have like rules that before the linter was handling,. but now I have this type of information, so I want to be able to do more with it.
