go home it's such an interesting idea because that was exactly exactly the polar op the the mirror image of my choice and funny that you should talk about baseball in that we would go to baseball games from time to time in New York having lived for a couple of years in Boston I asked myself whether my team was the Boston Red Sox or New York Yankees that's a big decision there is a big decision and I'll never forget somebody a member of our team who has a way and she's certainly a Yankees fan of saying that Boston Red Sox suck but it's a different way of saying it's a kind of with a New York accent right but also coming to the realization that I wanted to grow up I wanted to have my family be in a place where they were fans of British and European soccer teams and where there was those sensibilities and it's amazing that that's a choice over identity which is actually really important so I'll tell you a quick story just to follow up there I met

a fund manager that is a US manager he lived in the UK and he spent his whole life in the UK and he was a really nice gentleman we had a conversation once and he said so you're gonna stay here permanently I said I don't know and he said well let me tell you something I'm an American I love your permanently I love it but there's something you need to remember if you have kids here they're gonna have British accents they are gonna want to play you know soccer football they're not gonna want to play baseball they're gonna play cricket and he's like that's something you need to think about and that always stuck with me and not there's anything wrong with that but like it it was an influencing decision for sure
