The Extreme Exercise Hypothesis

There is this sort of extreme exercise hypothesis, the idea that exercise volumes beyond the quote unquote optimal dose actually can cause harm or impart greater risk. With respect to exercise, yeah, there's an increased risk of AFib atrial fibrillation from high volumes of exercise. We've talked about that on a number of other podcasts before. But we know that that reduces the risk of having a major adverse cardiac event like a heart attack or stroke.
