Earl Warren's Majority Opinion: McFadden's Intervention

In the 1960s, crime is on the rise in the US. Public fear about violent crime specifically is really kind of boiling over. And a Supreme Court that's at the center of desegregation battles and the so-called kind of like due process revolution is facing harsh backlash from conservatives.
