I thought I wanted to join the corporate world because my mom was like, you're not going to paint homes the rest of your life. What I really realized is I was actually just an entrepreneur and I just loved being in control of my own destiny. My first company at a business school was an evolved group on. So it was true yield management, but it wasn't like coupons. It was same day discounts, much like hotel tonight, but for restaurants. And again, it was just too kind of on trend, like all the VCs had made their bets. You're not setting a trend if you're jumping on it.
