Indirect Calarimetry and Double Labeled Water
There are two ways that we broadly measure energy expenditure, indirect calarimetry and doubly labelled water. So so put this in some quantitative terms for me, that infusion of leptin gave them, how many more k cow per day in energy expenditure? We talke about a hundred k co a day. And we could show that that effect is primarily being conveyed through skeletal muscle. What happens is that the muscle becomes less efficient. If you want to think about it, that way after the lepton administration. Like what kind of a delta? Re yo? Iproduce two or three, because these are big to start with. That's a huge delta, right?
