The Problem With the Watchman Comic
Alan Moore said the comic both trolls and revere superheroes, which is saying he thinks he reveres them. And also it doesn't troll them. It eviscerates the entire concept of superheroes. The problem with the show is ultimately that the question, the fundamental question that's asked before they do anything is who is the main character? What do they want? How are they going to get it? Now that's better than just like tossing every idea that come pops into your head out there and then basically putting it on screen unfiltered.
