How Do We Overcome Disadvantages in the Market Place?

There's an idea that co operative, democratic forms of production face disadvantages in the current market place. So i wanted to ask what hurdles along those lines you think are most challenging to overcome and how do we overcome them? A, i think you're right. One very real difficulty is the bank's not going to give us any capital. But let's say we find a way around that. And then you point out rightly again, that if we concern ourselves with true costs and benefits... markets don't take it into account.
