How to Start a Company Outside of the Comfort Zone of Google's Infrastructure

The company was founded by an engineer who wanted to build a platform for neural information retrieval into products. The idea is that engineers would not have to spend six months consulting with the research team at Google, but could use their own technology and integrate it in other products. It's been quite successful integrating with product teams across Google including Google Maps.
