Writing a Book
I think it's fairly common to write a bunch of pages that ultimately don't make the cut or are completely at odds with the finished product. For me, I found it became a better book if I just wandered my way through and went through the trauma of throwing things away in order to find what the book really needed to be. Is this something that you've been doing your whole career or is this like a new development? "It makes sense to me that people who don't really outline, like maybe you sketch a few things down or put some notes down on paper"
