A student of mine who is on the job market this hear, has a very interesting paper looking at to decision and how much they use economic languages. She finds that judges that were trained in low schools with more low and economic faculties tend to use more economic reasoning. Most importantly, she finds a correlation between how probusiness they are in their regulatory decisions and their training and the use of economics.
