Vishwanath says, thinking that objects give us happiness seems to be a classic case of thinking. All that the mind does is in the presence of an illumined by you the consciousness. So when the mind is doing something, remember it's not entirely objective. It is an object, it is juddha in sentient but lit up by sentient. A good example is the moon. You will say the moon has no light, then how does it light up the entire earth at night? But then what you mean by the full moon on a full moon night is not the moon by itself.
