People that have one or two copies of apo-E4 are predisposed to get cardiovascular disease at an earlier age and also Alzheimer's disease. In the area of New Guinea I worked in, it's really common. But on the other hand, they're in an environment where the things that's predisposed towards cardiovascular disease and Alzheimer's disease are not so evident. So there's a really interesting story yet to be told.
