The Disappointment of Sports People

I identify really well with the sports people as an adult. I totally get why they get excited to the point that, you know, we joke sometimes, oh, sports ball. The word of the sports ball itself is so kind of cruelly dismissive. But even though I wouldn't say I follow it so much as when I have occasion to watch it, I will. One sport that I do follow, follow, like pay attention to on purpose and track how the teams are doing is actually baseball. Which kind of fits the nerd like vibe. It is such a statistical, slow paced game. Do you follow soccer? I don't follow Major League soccer, but I do love it
