I'm very upset with how many people would just unknowingly like tell themselves a story ah what's the harm and I see that at MIT. when I came to Stanford there were millions and millions of dollars being given to medical professors by Philip Morris as part of the Philip Morris external research program. The tobacco industry funded hundreds of scientists basically say you know it's all genetic if you get cancer well you had a coming right because of your genes or ancestor your hormones whatever. This is not natural in a university about how many professors there are of human origins versus AI this is all a political decision at a very non-democratic institution universities are less democratic than the Vatican.
