The Value of Life

Virtue ethics is not a substantive theory of right action but collects the moral residue, so to speak. I think there's something to be said for when you have to make a tough decision that involves human life and that both options are bad in some way but one is better than the other. So we want to ideally be in a position where we both choose a response to COVID which is both moral and ethical - it's worthy of a just and ethical society.
