The schubert brothers died in the early 1960s. Their nephew, milton, was driven out of new york entirely. The hotel astor that represented the glory days of the theatre district is torn down and replaced by a skyscraper one astor plaza. On west forty fifth street, above the lyceum theatre, you can find the schubert archive - a repository of theatrical history.
