How to Be a Successful Product Manager

Don't fall into the trap of being just an order taker, which is a common and easy trap to fall into in this world. Product managers have got to be the one who can see around the corner. And as you said, anticipate needs before the salespeople or even the customers anticipate them. That makes you an expert. It's also easier to say, we already have that on the case, right? Or on the roadmap or what have you, we can re-prioritize if needed.
