Is the Zero COVID a Game Changer?
We think it's just part of the broader story of more economic turmoil, uncertainty and slowdown. It's hard to see inflation pressures easing off completely; I do think the direction of travel in next three to six months will be lower. Long-term yields have been bid dramatically over the past couple of weeks. This has been the one consensus trade but perhaps people are getting ahead of the first half of next year and doing it all now.
