Art Critic: Is It Redemptive?
Art critic lawrence weshler was a huge influence on colhas' work. He found unconventional ways of recognising correlations between things that you would otherwise assume were totally unrelated. The only thing that was important was how you engaged with the question and what the question was, he said. And it seemed to us that the moments that were transformative, and, to use your word, redemptive, of situations were where somehow in the mess you found a way of seeing things that before you hadn't seen before. That became the foothold, or the thing that took the project forward.
