The Stability of Narrative Identity in Adulthood

There's so much emphasis in personality research on stability. So if you have an ever evolving story, what is the stability in that story? And yeah, it's a deep question. But I think there are some things we do know empirically. Some people are vivid, emotionally laden narrators and others are not. That idea that hate has alluded to about the stability lying in the how people tell stories.
