The idea that zero sits on this line of numbers that go up and down was revolutionary. This brought in things like being able to study curves and trajectories, which is essential to astronomy. These samit scholars were really big on astronomy and also on things like curves and movements. That is what i said about the trajectories of weapons and cannon balls - although maybe the world would be better off without them.
