If journals only ever publish studies that show positive results, we can amiss a large chunk of evidence that shows us that nudges don't work. Knowing when it hasn't been effective can be just as important as knowing when it is a so it's important to publish negative results. A lot of research in science and social sciences struggles with nudge theory. There are certain efforts under way to try and reduce publication by us. But take up of those schemes is a bit patchy. So dare we say it? It might be time for a nudge.
