Hank: I was really impressed with Dr. Belknapp's discussion about verse 18. He seemed to connect us to the Savior in a wonderful way in suffering. Hank: Paul takes scriptures from all walks of the Old Testament, from the Torah, from the prophets,. From the writings. And he shows time and time again that God has a plan and a promise for the Gentiles. Josh: So we're going to take this idea that you're all adopted. You're all part of Christ. But Paul's got to go back and say, I need to explain some things. We see it throughout the Old Testament that God emphasizes peculiarity of his covenant people.

Dr. Matson continues to explore themes of redemption, sin, the law, and the power of the Holy Ghost in the second half of the Letter to the Romans.
