A few years ago the cult of Nolan was like really strong Nolan was the film bro and it was like a joke that if you were in a Nolan you're probably just like a bro now maybe Zack Snyder took over that online. Christopher Nolan has by virtue of his unparalleled commitment to these zany super high concepts the integrity of his filmmaking how experiment I mean experimental is a loaded word but he does think even someone like David Boorwell incorporates experimentalism into these blockbuster experiences.
