Triangulation in a Family System Can Reduce Anxiety and Tension
I know so many people who of course get divorced in the course of raising children. And it's clear that the marriage isn't working out. Their children are experiencing the impacts of that. So I think there being some anxiety or tension in any relationship can be pretty normal. Depending on how kind of frightened we are of truly being intimate, we carry the anxiety and tension. A lot of times when we're drawing the child in, it's not because we're fighting with our partner ... It's just simply that there's anxiety and tension about even the intimacy.
