"I did not want to be where I grew up. Stanford's an amazing place, but I had so much developmental history there," he says. "You can come to my lab and you can work on anything that is related to what I was going to do at Harvard." In the course of his research, Sutter found a way to help blind people see using light-sensitive options in their eyes.

Andrew Huberman is a Professor of Neurobiology at Stanford University and host of the Huberman Lab podcast.
