Key transparency in that context is one interesting research question. And I think the nice thing is that if this works at WhatsApp scale for key transparency, this very related problem might also work at scale for proofs of solvency. So there's all kinds of dimensions where you can generalize this problem that still require a lot of exploration before they can be deployed at scale.
