The Importance of Singing
The phrase used about you is, when you sing, it sounds like you're a trumpet extended. Or when you play the trumpet, it soundslike you're a voice. Both are an extension of you then. But I mean, I always would sing, I was singing before the blade on. So, quite naturally, I could sing the same notes and they go home. The early musicians, when you were a small boy, the early musicians who didn't have schooling or training then, when they would play, in their own mind they were singing to. It was at a time.
