The Importance of Respecting the Line Between Embryo and Human Being
Researchers are creating these so-called embryo models as they will call them. But nobody really knows if they're actually human beings, and we wouldn't know if they were actually human beings unless they were implanted into a woman's uterus and allowed to develop. If you don't even know where the line is biologically, then we should not be tinkering right on the edge of it. It'd be better to do this all in animals, increase our understanding,. And then later, it may indeed be possible to generate something that's clearly not a human embryo, but is valuable for research purposes. That's a theoretical possibility.
