The Reparations Conversation Is Not Helping Anyone, Right?

i think a lot of that the issues on the reservation have to do with them being still sort of controlled by the military. We were not alive when that happened, you know, which is why the reparations conversation is so ridiculous. And even if your ancestor had something to do with it, i still wipe your hands of it, because you don't. It's this backward facing nonsense that has us stuck in this disempowering position that we're in. I'm empathetic and i'm sympathetic because i respect them, not because i feel like i'm a part of the situation that they're in.
