Are the People Who Hold Power More Likely to Defend Democracy?

The purpose of the hearing is to insure that trump doesn't run again in 20 24, or if he runs, that he loses. But my argument is that this committee and the hearings it's putting on right now are based on a lie told by a sitting president. I tend to think that it's the people who hold power that are more likely to ppose a threat than the people who are outside. And its worth understanding the events of january sixt in terms of that battle.
